The Industrial PC, Inc. story…

Industrial PC, Inc. was founded in 1996 with a mission to provide high quality, cost effective computing solutions for the factory floor.  PC based industrial computing had architecture limitations at that time so developing relationships with the best possible industrial computer manufacturers was necessary.  Industrial PC, Inc. did just that:  Teamed with the best manufacturers that put quality first. 

As the market grew so did Industrial PC, Inc.  Dedicated to offering the most comprehensive offering of industrial computer products, Industrial PC, Inc. evaluated a variety of products and continued to respond to the industry's needs.  While some may think that a PC is a PC, Industrial PC, Inc. never adapted to that philosophy.  Customers have varied requirements in both performance as well as size and fit.   With that said, Industrial PC, Inc. put together a vast selection of packaging options as well as varied performance levels of single board computers.  Over the years IPC has been able to offer customers a perfect fit for their application.

From the very beginning, Industrial PC, Inc. recognized the need to offer clients a total computing solution.  It all starts with a phone call to one of our professional Sales Engineers.  Each system is configured to the client’s needs with special consideration paid to longevity of product availability.  Configured properly and integrated with great care, Industrial PC, Inc. systems stand the test of durability and longevity for the customer's most demanding applications.

In 2000 Industrial PC, Inc. introduced a complete line of LCD products used for a variety of applications from factory floors to medical equipment.  A very unique offering from Industrial PC, Inc. was displays that could be easily read in direct sunlight.  Coupling this feature with various NEMA ratings IPC’s market grew again.  Next, a full line of Panel PCs.  IPC also offered touch screen options to the complete line of LCD products.

With the world getting smaller so did our computers.  In 2002 Industrial PC introduced a huge selection of “embedded” computing products – not only Single Board Computers but packaging too.  Adhering to industry standards IPC offered only embedded architectures governed by groups such as PICMG and the PC/104 Consortium. 

Industrial PC, Inc. fully recognizes that each application has different requirements – be it temperature, environmental or size.  Our Sales Engineers work along with clients assuring the absolute best fit for specific requirements.  One size does not fit all is the philosophical foundation on which IPC was built.
